Meal n Rep compared with calorie and macro trackers

MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, MacroFactor and Lose It! are dedicated food trackers with much larger food databases and more nutrition features than Meal n Rep. Meal n Rep covers the everyday basics (calories, protein, carbs and fat) and adds workouts, sleep, a kosher filter and Shabbos mode, all free.

What Meal n Rep adds

  • A free barcode scanner (typed barcodes work too)
  • A kosher-only filter that shows the hechsher named in product data with its source, never guessed
  • Set, rep and weight logging and a weekly workout plan in the same app
  • Shabbos and Yom Tov handled as rest days
  • Free data export

What it lacks

  • A large food database, restaurant items and micronutrient tracking
  • AI photo or voice logging
  • Health app and device sync
  • Editing a logged amount (remove the entry and add it again)

Free. Works in your browser on iPhone, Android, tablet and computer. No card needed.
